This was masterful! So well written. Very Drabblecast — involves a mysterious creature, nice subtle horror. Just when you think you have predicted the trope, the author makes some very slight alteration that just throws you slightly off track. The audio production was on the whole excellent — the one slight flaw is that the heroine’s lines sound like she’s in a tile bathroom while everyone else is in the open forest. But you probably know that. Otherwise, the voice acting was superb and especially the screams and nonhuman sound effects made it all worthwhile.
